Archive of all the numbered Mix CDs/playlists I ever made (Part 2)

Annas Mix 6:
(31 min, mixed emotions, but not too much of a downer)

Very good mix. Still from around the time I was 14.

“Too much on my Mind” really spoke to me at that time. It’s one of the few songs I put on more than one Mix.

“I Am the Rain” by Pete Doherty

“Out of Time Man” by Mick Harvey

“Didn’t I” by Darondo

“I try” by Macy Gray

“Oh! Sweet Nuthin’” by The Velvet Underground
“Too Much On My Mind” by The Kinks

“If I could Write” by Sam Phillips

“Dear Catastrophe Waitress” by Belle and Sebastian

“Little Miss Queen of Darkness” by The Kinks

Annas Mix 7:

(20 min, mostly 60s rock)

Not bad, but also not my favorite. Definitely not as personal as a lot of the other mixes from that time.

“Take it as it comes” by The Doors

“One Step Beyond” by Madness

“Robert Montgomery” by Love

“Here Comes Your Man” By Pixies

“Talking in My Sleep” by Love

“White Light/White Heat” by The Velvet Underground

“You’re Gonna Miss Me” by 13th Floor Elevator

Annas Mix 8:

(45 min, mostly upbeat)

Very all over the place but I still like it. I made this one specifically for a family road trip and it didn’t receive much love from my audience. I still can remember how rejected I felt because I had put in a lot of love and thought into it and wanted to make everyone happy.

“Bitch” by Meredith Brooks

“There She Goes Again” by The Velvet Underground

“You’re Looking Fine” by The Kinks

“Ball And Biscuit” by The White Stripes

“Sometimes” by Antsy Pants

“Heroin” by The Velvet Underground

“Alma Mater” by Alice Cooper
“Too Much on My Mind” by The Kinks

“Smackwater Jack” by Carol King

“In the Mood” by Glenn Miller

“The Way you look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra

Annas Mix 9:

(29 min, melancholic mixed with upbeat)

Not one of my favourites. It’s not bad but there wasn’t a lot of thought put into it.

I think during this time I was really enthusiastic about making lots of mixes all the time but wasn’t close to as perfectionist as I am now with the composition of mixes. I just put on a bunch of songs I liked on a playlist and burned it on CD.

“The State I Am In” by Belle and Sebastian

“Fill My Eyes” by Cat Stevens

“Corrina, Corrina” by Bob Dylan

“This Is Where I Belong” by The Kinks

“Eight Days A Week” by The Beatles

“What Became of the Likely Lads” by The Libertines

“Hey Jude” by The Beatles

Annas Mix 10:

(22 min, melancholic, yearning)

I love all of the songs on this but the mix itself is still not one of the better ones.
I love “Always See Your Face” as a closer. It’s one of the most perfect songs to ever exist imo.

“Music When The Lights Go Out” by The Libertines

“Ride Into the Sun” by Lou Reed

“Such a Shame” by The Kinks

“Wait Till the Summer Comes Along” by The Kinks

“It Ain’t Me Babe” by Bob Dylan

“The Fairest of The Season” by Nico

“Always See Your Face” by Love
