What are your favorite Animals?
My favorite animals are pandas, squirrels, raccoons, cats, whales, penguins and mini pigs.
I also am a big fan of internet sensation Moo Deng and all the other baby pygmy hippos that have made a career off of the hype surrounding her.
What is the best movie adaptation of a book in your opinion?
The obvious answer for me would be The Virgin Suicides (1999). I am a big fan of the book by Jeffrey Eugenides and a big fan of Sofia Coppola and I can’t think of any other film that felt like it captured and translated the vibe/spirit/mood of a book so well.
But Adaptation. deserves a honorable mention as well. Definitely the most creative one.
What games do you have on your phone?
At the moment I have Pikmin Bloom, a free Sudoku app and the NYT games app.
But if you’re asking because you want to borrow my phone to play with it I’ll have to disappoint you. I don’t just give my phone to anyone.
What is your least favorite fruit?
Pears. I’ve hated them since I was in kindergarden.
I can’t explain why. They just taste wrong.
What names did you wanna give to your hypothetical future kids growing up?
Valerie or Charlotte for a girl and Vincent for a boy.
Valerie is tainted for me though since I’ve known one too many Valeries I didn’t get along with.
Also, I don’t even think I want kids anymore, so I spend more time naming hypothetical cats these days.
Which part of a Twinni ice cream do you prefer?
Strangely the green part, which is supposedly pear flavoured but it doesn’t taste the same to me so I like it.
I always eat the orange part first though so I can reward myself with the green one after.
Who are you married to in Stardew Valley?
I have romanced every character (to get that one cut scene) and I was married twice.
The first time I married Leah because I like weird art girlies but then I got bored with her quite quickly and was a bit disappointed by our marriage, so I divorced her and made her forget our relationship and transformed our kids into doves via magic.
Now I’m very happily married to Penny.
What are your biggest fears in life?
That everyone secretly hates me but won’t tell me and dying alone.
But considering how anxious I almost constantly am because of those fears and how much time I spend thinking about them, you’ll have to admit I’m being actually pretty chill about it. Or at least I hope I come across that way.
